4 September 2017 – Quaker Mile
We had a fantastic turnout at the Quaker Mile on a rainy Monday evening at Eastbourne Sports Complex, with 28 runners competing. It was great seeing the Quaker community come together and support each other.
Marc Ellis ran a fab race taking 50 championship points for the men in a time of 5:21. Louise Trainor took 47 points for the women in a time of 6:00.
It was a lovely race that saw lots of Quakers helping each other. Well done to everyone that took part, and many thanks to the volunteers who helped with organisation and timing.
The next club championship race is the Autumn Coast Road on Wednesday 6 September 2017 followed by the Vale of York Half marathon on Sunday 10 September 2017.
Don’t forget to take a look at the Club Championship page for full details of the Club Championship, including race listings, all race results and the latest championship table.
