30 July 2017 – James Herriot Trail
The James Herriot Trail is a stunning 14km run around scenic moorland tracks and paths near Castle Bolton in Wensleydale. It looked like a challenging hilly route that saw 13 Quakers taking part.
Brian Martin ran a fantastic race in a time of 01:04:02 taking 50 championship points. Dawn Richardson took 47 points for the women in a time of 01:11:10.
Well done everyone that took part!
The next club championship race is the Scorton Feast Memorial on the 20th August 2017. This is a multi terrain race around Scorton lakes. This will be followed the Auckland Castle 5 mile trail run on the 27th August 2017, which is another lovely run taking in some trail and forest running.
Don’t forget to take a look at the Club Championship page for full details of the Club Championship, including race listings, all race results and the latest championship table.
